KES Closed on January 19 Due to Water Issue
Kirtland Elemetary School will be closed January 19, 2017 because of a water issue. Sorry for the late notice, but we just discovered the problem. KHS and KMS are not effected and will be in session.
KHS Curriculum Night on January 26
Please join us in the KES gym on this night as we will have KHS teachers available during these 2 annual meetings. First off, we will be hosting parents of incoming freshmen (current 8th graders) for Grade 8-9 Transition. This meeting will be followed by the required College Credit Plus (CCP) Information Meeting. At that time, we will discuss both, the KHS Advance Placement (AP) program and CCP. Parents planning to attend these meetings are encouraged to take advantage of the availability of the KHS teachers to discuss course offerings and curricula. Whether or not you plan on attending either of the meetings, please feel free to attend the Q&A sessions. Click here for session times and details.

Heinen's “Teaming Up for Education”
Heinen’s is “Teaming Up for Education” and will donate 1% of qualifying sales to our schools. If you shop at Heinen’s, please take a moment to sign up for this at www.heinensrewards.com. Even if you are already a preferred customer, you need to note Kirtland Schools as your preferred school on your profile page. You can also do this by stopping at the Customer Service booth in any Heinen’s store. One great feature of the program is that Heinen's is crediting us with a “reach-back” period to last September! So amounts you’ve already spent are eligible! Any Heinen’s shopper may participate, so tell everyone you know to select Kirtland as their school of choice! Please remember to mark your calendar as well, because you have to re-select your school of choice annually.
